This section is about walking in the mountains of Snowdonia.

There are five main groups of mountains which it will explore. Each section will contain a selection of possible routes, and some photographs taken "on route". All photographs are the authors own. There is also a section on safety in the hills, a quiz on hill recognition in Snowdonia, and a section meant to teach or refresh basic navigation skills. An interactive map is provided, drawn by my is provided, drawn by my Dad. You may click on a label to see a photo relating to that region.  A section also some of my suggestions for what you can do if you want to have a day outside the hills.

In this section you may click on any photo for an enlargement (usually labelled).

In the list of routes, R indicates a round walk, whilst T means that public transport or the use of 2 cars is necessary.
